Are you an experienced Training Manager with a passion for developing and implementing effective training programs? Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom training sessions and coordinate with external trainers to deliver comprehensive training programs.
- Facilitate virtual training sessions or coordinate online learning platforms as required.
- Support the recruitment of apprentice cohorts to ensure talent development within the organization.
- Design training programs that align with business goals and address identified needs. This includes determining objectives, selecting appropriate methods, and creating materials/resources.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, surveys, and feedback from participants. Analyze outcomes and make improvements accordingly.
- Conduct thorough Training Needs Analysis assessments within the organization. Present findings to senior leadership team (SLT) for approval.
- Administer and maintain the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). Collate materials/report progress/certificates. Generate reports/presentations to SLT.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends/best practices in order to enhance personal knowledge/skills. Attend conferences/workshops/seminars as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree educated ideally in teaching (Cert Ed, PGCE, PTLLS, CTLLS or DTLLS).
- Degree educated ideally in Engineering discipline
- Assessor Award D32/D33/AQA
- Qualification verification award IQA
- Safeguarding Level 4
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Background in metal fabrication or engineering is preferable.
- The ability to respond and thrive amidst rapidly changing priorities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability build good working relationships at all levels within the organization
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly apprenticeships.
- Excellent organization/planning skills, including prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Confident public speaking/presentation abilities.
- Strong instruction/coaching skills.
- Good communication/influencing skills at all levels within the organization
- Some experience/training in psychometric testing would be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Hold a valid full UK driving license with willingness/ability to travel as required.
