Dairy Operative
Join our dedicated client as a Dairy Operative and be part of a thriving dairy production facility. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a counterbalance license to assist with various tasks within our high-quality dairy operation. This role offers 40-48 hours per week, ensuring stability and an attractive hourly rate of £11.69 per hour, which increases to £12.19 per hour after a successful 6-month probation.
Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment in line with safety guidelines.
- Assisting with milk reception, processing, packaging, and storage.
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure products meet our exceptional standards.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accurate stock control.
- Supporting the production team in adhering to production schedules.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility.
- Communicating effectively with team members and management.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid counterbalance license is essential.
- Previous experience in a dairy or food production environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work 5 days a week, including weekends, as the role operates on a rotating shift basis.
