We are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our growing client in Stevenage! As a TIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques to join metal parts with precision and accuracy. This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 4.30, and overtime available at time and a half.
In this role, your general responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricating and assembling metal parts using TIG welding technology
- Ensuring product quality and meeting strict quality control standards
- Maintaining welding equipment and tools, and reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Keeping accurate records of work performed
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of two years of experience with TIG welding techniques
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
