Shift Team Leader – Dairy Production
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: Average 40-48 hours per week, 5 days (including weekends and nights)
Salary: £13.38 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising a team of production operatives during assigned shift, ensuring adherence to all protocols and safety guidelines
- Overseeing the daily production and packaging operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and identify areas of improvement
- Organizing and allocating tasks to the team, ensuring they are performed efficiently and within set deadlines
- Monitoring machinery and equipment performance, and reporting any issues to the maintenance team promptly
- Collaborating with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes
- Conducting regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and implementing necessary training and development programs
- Maintaining accurate records of production output, quality control checks, and employee attendance
- Upholding health and safety standards, adhering to hygiene regulations, and promoting a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced production environment, preferably within the dairy industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to work
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends as required
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Computer literate and familiar with production management systems
