We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our client as a SHEQ Manager. With a salary ranging between £30k and £40k, dependent on expertise, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and development.
As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality management within our organization. You will implement and maintain effective systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, as well as drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s SHEQ management system.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control strategies to mitigate potential hazards and accidents.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on SHEQ performance, producing regular reports for senior management.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions to promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in SHEQ management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement effective control measures.
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- IOSH or equivalent qualification in Environmental Management.
